Day of Unexpected Adventures

Nothing today went the way we planned. But because of the people we were with, what could have been a terrible, frustrating, disappointing, stressful time became a simply splendid bunch of adventures.

We were supposed to travel with some other international students to Blow Me Down Park on Sunday, but plans changed a bit.

First, we had more people than cars, so we convinced two slumbering friends to wake up so we could all carpool. Seeing that it would take a while, we just told the other two cars to go on without us. (They did go and got amazing pictures of the falls.)

The tire on our car blew out in the parking lot, so we switched out to the spare, having loads of fun all the way. Then we had a slightly exciting trip on the dummy tire to walmart.

We needed to wait for the change, so as we walked outside, thinking of the amazing sights the other group would be having by then and saw that there was an amazing view out back of walmart. Then after some pictures, we decided to eat lunch because non of us had eaten breakfast.

The lunch buffet wasn't open, so we went to Bulk Barn, picked up the car, and then ate.

By then it was pretty late and our driver had an essay to write, but after all that effort we couldn't just head back. The others were hiking up to see a waterfall, so we hauled the computer up to the nearest giant waterfall, talked, and played with our cameras while Josh worked, cheering on the zip-liners as they whizzed past.

Overall, I'd say we had more adventure than if we'd just gone on a plain old adventure.
