Hockey Museum!

The Sanford side came over to Nova Scotia from Scotland and we found that Sanford is a really popular name near Windsor. We originally planned to chase down our descendents in the grave yards, but realized that will be a journey for another time. However, my aunt and I are hockey enthusiasts, so went to the “Birthplace of Hockey!” The whole sport started right there in Windsor, Nova Scotia, where my ancestors came over. On the other side of the Hockey museum was an old house that we toured while we were there. They had a beautiful, antique harp from 1847 with the original steel strings that I tried not to drool over. Unsuccessfully ;~)
