First Time in Gros Morne

There's an amazing national park just over an hour away from Corner Brook and Aunt Sue and I decided to check it out for a few days. It's like Yellowstone where a week there still wouldn't begin to scratch the surface of what you could do. The ocean, islands, bays, lakes, rivers, mountains, grasslands, theater, aquatic life, mountain animals, fog, sun, snow, rain...all add up to make an incredible outdoor playground.

First Sights of Newfoundland

Newfoundland is one of those places that even when it's cold, foggy, windy, and miserable, it's still a beautiful place. We came in on a sunny day, so the island was breathtaking. It was all the majesty of Montana, but in addition to the sparkling lakes and rivers, there was the ocean spanning the horizon. I forgot to take many pictures because I was drinking in the sights, but the pictures I did take start to get it across. This is such an incredible place to live!

Ferry to Port au Basques

If you've ever seen me around water, you know I get really excited in a rather childish way. So Aunt Sue just took pictures while I hopped all over the deck. :)
